i made pancakes this morning! :D
but first, this was the lunch i made yesterday:

cute carrots and broccoli! but i don't like to eat carrots.
back to the pancakes i made just now. hahah.
first, go to the supermarket near your house and get the pancake mix. you can make them from scratch but its the least likely thing you would want to do first thing in the morning. i love betty crocker! the brownie mix is nice too. (:
there are instructions behind, though not very specific.
1 cup is around 16 tablespoons for the mix, and 237ml for water. so 3/4 cup is around 180ml. it sucks having to do math early in the morning.
i made 6 pancakes!
one ROUNDED tablespoon of the pancake mix.
you need a measuring cup for the 180ml of water, unless you're REALLY good at estimating. which, i'm not. heh.
pour the water into the huge mixing bowl which contains the 16 tablespoons of mix.
and then you whisk the water and the mix. you stir and stir and stir, until...
the batter is of a smooth consistency.
then you can take a look at the arm which you stir the batter with, should be able to see bulging muscles! hahah, okay that's too dramatic.
but really, where's a guy when you need one?
you need a pan like this. (: or something similar.
grease the pan with butter! in case the pancake sticks to the pan. you'll have a hard time washing up later.
pour a bit of the batter onto the pan and try to make it into a round, pancake shape.
flip the pancake over before it turns chao ta. hahaha, this requires advanced culinary skills okay! my pancakes look like roti pratas instead! but they taste like pancakes totally.
ta-da! you have a stack of pancakes for breakfast! :D please remember to buy maple syrup and not use honey. honey with pancakes taste awful.
there's always the easier alternative of walking over to macs and getting the hotcakes, though.
went over to darling's place yesterday. hahah.
played around with make up. we're so pro, we managed to achieve the smoky eye effect! (:
yay, going to do the same thing for prom later. qian and darling are going to come over later.
i had better go and make my house look more presentable. lmao.
