nobody cared about them.
went to the block cleaning briefing at bestway building with chuan tdy.
im gna spend my next saturday helping to clean up the one-room flats for the elderly. (:
during the briefing they sort of intro-ed to us wht we'll be doing and taught us the basic things we need to know. like, we must be more sensitive to the old folks when we interact with them.
must try to psycho them to throw away their things, cos some of them keep things like newspapers from the ancient times and some tie strings and cloths all over at home. LOL.
quite looking forward, but i hope i wont faint when i see their SUPER MESSY AND DIRTY houses.
i dont even do housework at home! wht if i cannot survive. hahah.
luckily me and chuan are in the same group. and we're in the six ppl group!
which means the house we're assigned to is SLIGHTLY less messy. :D
din see any jc students at the briefing, most probably cos its jus before promos?
yea, but its for a good cause! so i dont mind. ((:
all the rest are adults la. so intimidating.
i wna help them paint their gates!
it looks fun.
but im not looking forward to cleaning their toilets. :/
some of the pictures they showed during the briefing just now were quite scary. scarily messy and filthy.
but i'll TRY. (: and! i pray and hope tt my unit has no bed bugs. even though i've nv seen them before but they sound horrible enough.
and most of the elderly there are abandoned by their children and have no other family.
tt's like really sad. they're just like this detached community that most people have forgotten about.
so i dont mind sacrificing abit of my time to make their home a better environment for them, cos i cant help much in other ways.
the tshirt is quite nice though. (: hahah.
think this blocking cleaning thing is quite a large scale event, with VIPS and guest of honours and the media.
yea. never mind! i shall update after the event. :D
pe ytd was a nightmare.
had to dance the super spastic cowboy dance.
and remind me to pon next week la. got chacha. omg. tt's worse!
its a partner dance somemore. :/
