I&E activities were quite interesting, i felt.
hahaha, but i probably could have enjoyed myself MORE if the tournament was scheduled on another day.
went through half the day with fluttering butterflies/squiggly worms/crunchy ladybirds in my stomach.
didnt eat much for lunch too, me and gf keep feeling like we wna puke. X)

hahahah, two hours before tournament was the most cruciating one la.
totally jittery and nervous.
was in the nexus with the squash girls, trying to relax and calm ourselves down.
went to talk to lao pu and lao na for awhile. hahaha, laughing always helps.

then we walked over to the yio chu kang squash centre at around twelve thirty.
warmed up and waited for the tournament to start.
then coach had a "talk" with us to decide the line-up for the matches.

coach asked me whether i wna be the last player, but i decided that i better not.
too stressful.
but actually it's the same amount of stress for every player la, i realised.

i was super super nervous for my first set.
won by a close margin, 9-7.
coach said he could SEE my heart beating when he talked to me after the first set!
gosh. that was how nervous i was. and i was shivering all over. :/
but coach talked to me and i cooled myself down and went in with more confidence.
all he said was "dont be nervous, cool yourself down, go in and focus on the ball."
miraculously i did alot alot better for my second and third sets.
still abit wobbly, but won my opponent 9-1 for both sets.

AJC won VJC, with five-love for the overall. (:
we didnt play our best for the matches, BUT we're going to perform better.
and i know i could have done alot better.
i wasnt alert enough, didnt drive/cross the ball hard enough, forgot to look at the opponent when she was hitting the ball, too slow in running back to the centre.
felt so bad cos coach was disappointed with how we played.
but i'll train harder harder HARDER next week, i promise.

next opponent: NJC, 11 April.
it's tough, but we gta press on.

im not being biased, but i think our jerseys look the nicest compared to other schools. heh.

and the SISTER and darren as well.
hahaha, all the smses and encouragements helped too. :D

porky went with me to novena square the day before the tournament to get my orange SB.
hahahah. wanted a hot pink one but couldnt find! X(
we ALMOST got into a fight with two primary school boys in toy'r'us!
hahaha, a fight over who gets to play the xbox360 on display.
got this mini teeth-pressing crocodile keychain.
if you press the wrong teeth it'll bite you! :D

i love playing snakes and ladders at ben & jerry's!
ahahah. porky! we should definitely make it our favourite hobby la.

next week is going to be another week full of trngs.
my tutorials will be feeling neglected and abandoned again.
