Chinese New Year!
i've finally decided to stop being lazy and blog about my exciting chinese new year.
chinese new year only ended today for me, cos we made one last visit to my second uncle's new condo in cck.
chinese new year's eve was the usual homely reunion dinner for me and my family.
didnt go anywhere but stayed at home and ate the food my mama cooked. i havent had dinner with my whole family since last year's reunion dinner.
after dinner, we just sat in front of the tv to watch all those new year programmes.
at twelve midnight we decided to go outside to the lift lobby and play with sparklers!
in the end there was alot of smoke and my neighbours thought there was a fire. heh. so embarassing la ohmygod.
so we played with sparklers at the balcony instead.
stayed up till quite late then went off to sleep.
the first two days of chinese new year was quite typical.
day one:
first stop was at my godma's condo in bukit panjang!

and my papa hate taking photos! new year's an exception. of cos must make good use of it. haha.
the next stop was my GREAT GRANDMA's (she's hitting the big 90s soon i think! :D) house. every year my whole extended family will gather there to visit her first, then the whole crowd will go off to my grandma's house and stay there for the whole of day one. for day two everyone will go to my san shu gong's house in the morning, then to my house for the rest of the day.
oh! and i won five hundred plus bucks at blackjack at my house.
no no, i didnt rob the bank la. i was the banker, and my relatives were playing huge bets. hahah i have magic fingers. :D
everyone stayed at my house until near midnight because they wna win back their money from me, but of cos they didnt. :p
and i won hundred plus today at my uncle's house again. heh. i'm the gambling queen la, thanks! :D

took this today! i think my GLAM QUEEN shirt made me lucky. heh.
i love the feeling of having all my relatives to gather together and play blackjack, chat about what's going on in our lives and all that.
and we can only see each other once a year, during chinese new year. except for some of the closer ones la.
even though my aunties uncles and cousins will always ask the same few questions every year i still like the feeling of the together-ness. (:
but this year got new question!
hahaha. okay they never even ask me, everyone just assumes that i have a boyfriend la.
my aunties keep asking my why i never bring my boyfriend along, my cousins keep asking me to show them my boyfriend's photo.
then i just told them i mei2 ren2 ya04, hahah.
i brought my camera along with me and camwhored like crazy.
ran around trying to make all my cute little cousins my photo subject! hahaha.
now i got truckloads of photos please. (:
but dont think i'll be uploading all to blogger, it'll take ten thousand years.
caught up with my cousins too, and we had fun gossiping and surfing the net while they were at my house.
i'll miss them so so much after chinese new year!
everyone'll be busy with they own lives and dont really have time to meet up and stuff.
but its okay, i'll be looking forward to next year. :D
one thing i hate about chinese new year is all the FOOD.

but luckily i have my parents around to remind me not to eat too much.
they keep warning me that i'll get fat la! hahah, they're so cute.
lou-hei with the squash girls last wednesday, after trng.
i only like the crackers! but we had fun throwing the yu sheng bits around la. heh.
went for the IHDC yesterday with shan (sotong ball) and gf after squash trng at yck sports complex.
i didnt realise my interschool tournament is only a month away until we saw the notice at yck squash courts.
so fast.
quite sad la, no more trngs after tournament.
i cant imagine school life without squash trngs and the squash girls. it'll be so boring la. ):
and interschool tournament! i'm not sure if i'm even ready yet.
but i will have to be.
anyw COUGAR won the IHDC!
us three were laughing like crazy woman during most of the parts.
goodness.
i was super high yesterday, keep laughing and couldnt stop.
common tests coming next week!
now still not so bad. wait till term two comes.
i foresee my grades falling like how the value of money fell during the Great Depression, with the Track and Field and the interschool tournament.
alright! super long entry, i took three hours to type this! :/
